Hector and his crew were recommended by my house remodel contractor. He does not recommend people lightly. When I mentioned what I wanted to have done, he immediately recommended Hector and his company. He had seen their work on another job he did and felt the work was first rate. I contacted Hector and he returned my call and & met with me within the week. Initially we wanted the driveway and the gravel pathways done together. Hector explained he could do it, but also mentioned that in general the driveway was in good condition and level and would be fine not being replaced. He gave us a quote for all the work and in the end, we just opted to replace the gravel pathways. Hector & his crew did a great job replacing our gravel pathway in front and on the side of the house. My concern was to keep the weeds away and especially for the front of the house to allow good drainage so water didn't pour down our driveway or into our neighbor's driveway. With the most recent downpour we had this October I was so relieved to see that a majority of the water soaked through the gravel and limited the amount of water that flowed down our driveway. I was ecstatic. Hector and his crew were professional, on time and communicated everything thoroughly. The price was also very reasonable for the work. A special shoutout for his honestly in terms of the scope of the work I highly recommend them and when we do replace our driveway, it will be them I'll opt to work with again .
Joel, Oscar, Hector and crew replaced our broken old driveway and side walk. They were timely, Efficient and there communication was excellent- in other words, they showed up when they said they would. Their workmanship is Grade A and were very easy to work with. The HOJ team was highly competent, professional, skilled and they know what they are doing. As important, they are very customer oriented, exceptional communicators, listen carefully and they want their customers to be happy. Though I cringed at the thought of doing this project and have put it off for years, it ended up being stress free because every single team member was professional, kind and just a great guy. These are nice people and they run an excellent business. We have a very steep driveway and they handled it carefully but with ease. Landscaping was right next to the drive on both sides and none of it was impacted. Hector seemed the most knowledgeable out of my five bidders. Joel was outstanding and so skilled in the demo. And Oscar is an exeptional communicator and wonderful customer interface. I spec’d out exactly what I wanted which was not standard and they did exactly what I spec’d. They showed up on time every day and never strung out our project so they could start another. Highly recommend if you want not only a great driveway but a great experience.

We hired HOJ to demo our old, damaged driveway and pour new concrete for a tricky, down-sloping driveway. They accommodated all of our requests with ease (we wanted more closely spaced rebar, special rock for a separate parking area, and separate, detailed estimates and invoices since we were sharing some of the expense with our neighbor). In addition, they pivoted quickly to take advantage of the best day of weather for the pour (pouring a day or two earlier than originally planned). They were all very easy to communicate with (quick responses), friendly and did an overall great job. We are super happy with the finished result and will use them again if/when we have a need in the future.

We hired HOJ concrete to replace our front porch, sidewalk and stairs. We got three bids and theirs was very competitive. We found them to be communicative and responsive. Our project was started in the winter. It had to be put on hold due to cold temps and we were concerned that they would be slammed when it came time to pour. However, they got us in quickly. We are very pleased with the results. Sidenote, we had a very experienced house builder on our property during the wait for the temperatures to rise and they of course could see the work that HOJ had done thus far (forms and rebar in place etc....). They commented that "these guys know what they're doing," It was nice to hear that unsolicited vote of confidence.

My slanted driveway was a fractured mess. HOJ replaced exactly as needed and with a perfect finish. Showed up right on time and finished as promised. Two days work including base gravel, rebar, and a followup wash for 800sf driveway. Now I enjoy a smooth transition up into the garage.
